A syndicate has been running behind the shadows of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), prompting President Duterte to tap uniformed personnel as chairperson of the agency.
“Itong PCSO, binababoy ‘yan ng mga sindikato pati ng mga gangster dito na bigtime sa Pilipinas,” he revealed during his speech before the troops of the First Scout Ranger Regimen at Camp Tecson in Bulacan.
Duterte did not expose yet the persons behind the irregularities at the PCSO but he revealed that the government loses P20-million a day due to these activities.
“We were losing P20 million a day at the PCSO because of irregularities,” he said.
“We have a hard time looking for guys to run it and I could not find it in the civilian sector,” Duterte added.
