Duterte Radio Program – President Rodrigo Duterte will be soon hosting his own radio program that will broadcast over Radio-TV Malacañang (RTVM) nationwide.

In a report by PhilStar, Duterte has already hosted a weekly radio program in Davao City when he was still Mayor.

The said program was used to broadcast the projects and campaigns of his administration before. Also, it is also used to mention government workers or officials who are allegedly corrupt or even those who were involved in the illegal drug trade.

Communications Secretary Martin Andanar announced that this will be the first time to have a radio booth in RTVM for the President. The said booth that will be used in the broadcast was an RTVM’s conference room that is seldom used.

“After many years and for the first time, we would see an actual radio booth for RTVM. It is going to be the official radio booth of the President and he would be the first to use it for his ‘Mula sa Masa, Para sa Masa’ program,” said Secretary Andanar as quoted.

Andanar said that the people will be hearing the broadcast “straight from Malacañang”.

The RTVM was first organized in 1996 after the EDSA Revolution which has been linked in the television coverage and the documentation, and the in news and public affairs syndication of the President’s activities.

The RTVM among the government’s main agencies that is used to inform Filipinos of the programs, activities, and updates from the President.

The report added that the Duterte administration wanted to use different media, like social media and TV to let all the people know what’s going on with the current administration.
